It's that time of year again in Southern Utah and the cacti are Blooming
out their Buds! What a spectacular sight to behold, thanks to
Mother Nature. This variety of cactus blooms just twice a year and the
flowers last only a day or so and I was lucky to catch a glimpse of the
dinner plate size flowers!
The colors of the blooms come in pink, orange, white and yellow and
as you can see, they are very vibrant. I was able to get a few shots of
the white ones and a pink one. They're Blooming out their Buds everywhere
here in southern
Utah!

Message: DO NOT attempt to pet the dogs = DO NOT SHOW THE PROPERTY!
In the private remarks on the MLS, the listing agent
thoughtfully warned all buyer agents regarding LARGE
DOGS inside the home with a
side note that said DO NOT attempt
to pet the dogs. To me it translates to say:
- DO NOT SHOW THIS HOUSE!
- ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!
- DANGER! DANGER!
Besides, the
hair on the back of the neck would stand at attention when shuffling from room
to room at a good clip while looking behind with every step in anticipation. Or
that flimsy wire cage that Brutus and Maneater are in may suddenly disengage,
leaving nothing but air between us! I THINK WE MAY SKIP THIS PROPERTY,
if that is okay with you Mr. & Mrs. Buyer!
Yikes!

All humor aside, I must say that
I will not put my client's safety at risk because someone refuses to cooperate
and take the dogs for a walk or make sure their pets are extremely secure. Also,
cats should not have free reign either as they may sneak through the door to
escape or will become defensive and defend their territory.
Sellers, please be aware of the
showing instructions of your home to buyers agents; it may be an unsafe
situation to all involved or the death of your listing! Think about it!

Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Tastes like
Spring!
As Diana runs and runs around the dog park, she makes
good use of her dog senses, every one of them on high
alert.
- Every Sound brings
her to a new direction.
- She is excited to Touch green
grass again.
- The Sight of
the birds and flowers ignite her.
- Smell here,
there and everywhere.
- And her Taste buds
are alive!
She says it Tastes
like Spring! Happy
Wednesday to you all!
Speechless Sunday
(almost!): Storm's a brewin'!

I took comfort in Mary Yonker's post, Let's
Meet for Cup of Tea & Discuss the Budget.
Without anger, malice, resentment or animosity, let's just
chat over a cup of tea regarding solutions to the mess the
government has created, I appreciate that Mary. Thank you.
The government apparently has lost track of what is truly
important. So as they point fingers, yell and place blame,
one thing is certain...they have forgotten the "We
The People" part.
And a storm's a brewin'!
Speechless Sunday (almost!): Bloomie away!

The many vibrant colors of Spring
demand attention and are such a delight that I get quite excited
to see the endless variety that nature offers up each year. From
the first hints of daffodils to the spirited tulips that dot
flower gardens in the downtown
St. George, Utah area to the fruitless cherry trees that
show off their white, pink and magenta blooms to all passerby.
They all bloomie away!
Thankful Thursdays: Pure sync

From the corner of my eye while driving, a scatter of light
caught my attention. A flock of doves were soaring in a
repetitive arc and then back again into an open field, each one
instinctively in tune to the other's whereabouts as they
effortlessly rose and dipped into the sky.
Their pure synchronicity, stark against the darkened sky was
visually stunning and a sight never to be forgotten. I am
thankful.
Why wait till summer?

While
hurriedly making flight and hotel plans for a an unexpected 3-day stay
in Denver, we rushed out the door to get to Las Vegas for the flight
that would take me there. Everything was thrown into the suitcase and I
put my reading glasses in my laptop bag for later use.
We arrive at the airport, get through security and finally to the
gate area and take a seat. I was so looking forward to taking out my
Sony Reader as I had previously downloaded two books. I pulled it from
my bag along with my reading glasses.
Before long, I was lost in the pages of a good read, occasionally
glancing up at those around me. Some were looking at me a little longer
than necessary and my attention went back to the book. I finally reached
up to adjust my glasses and realized I was missing the right lense!
Ha-ha! Here's looking at you lefty!
Thankful
Thursdays: Oh the possibilities!
May they always be endless!
We received 3 offers in 2 days on properties we have listed in southern
Utah. It seems the cyclical nature of our business is fine tuned and
affording excellent results. I can also assure you that we have worked
diligently alongside our sellers to ensure successful outcomes for each
one.
To stay in business it is necessary to be self-motivated by:
- Finding reasons to get up every morning, ready to face the day
- Dressing up because you never know who you may meet around the
corner
- And showing up means you've decided to make the most of what the day
offers
Thankful?
Oh yes and had I stayed in bed, I may have missed the chance to do
business and taking this amazing photo that nature provided today!
Happy Thursday everyone, may your opportunities be endless!
Wordless Wednesday (almost!): "Earth laughs
in flowers"~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

My grin began to widen as I continued through the roundabout on Main
Street to see these fluffy buds
bursting out all over this fruitless
plum tree. Who am I to doubt these brave pioneers as they spring to life,
bringing subtle beauty and color to every passerby?
And if Ralph Waldo Emerson is correct, this tree is a symphony of happiness,
spreading good cheer to those who take notice! Happy Wednesday to you all!
